Binding an activation to the dongle's serial number allows the dongle to activate software on any computer that the dongle is attached to. To avoid this in the future you can use the harddrive ID, set them all to the same ID, then use a CMD program called VolumeID to change the ID on the harddrive to the ID you activated with. This warranty extension is applicable to Products covered by a standard Rockwell Automation warranty.
